The Blast

Thursday January 6, I volunteered in Rachael's classroom.  The teachers had baked these adorable train cars & each kid got to decorate it with candy & icing.  This is Rachael's top view.

This is a side view.  Notice the cute gummy life savers for the wheels & the black liccorice as the train tracks!  So adorable & the kids loved working on them.

I had the honor of bagging each of them up to take home to show their families.  I was also in charge of another project, painting cut out snowflakes.  The kids had to paint one side of the snowflake, and then I put them on the drying rack, they will paint the other side next week.  Seems simple but it was chaos!  I was so exhausted after class, I needed a nap before our evening plans began...
This is the prayer Rachael's class does at the beginning of each day.  It was so neat to watch all of her little friends praying...love the catholic school.

We went to the Eagan Community Center & played in THE BLAST.  It's another big climbing structure with slides & tubes.  We met our friends Mira & Sami, & their mom Lina.  We always have so much fun with them.  Daniel was so excited, in the van he kept saying "Sami & Mira my best friend."  When the girls saw each other there were BIG hugs.
We had so much fun, but were exhausted when we got home.  Dinner & straight to bed for all of us.
