Duluth Day 2

Day 2: Duluth Children's Museum with a pit-stop at a wonderful park.

So, Day 2 started off INCREDIBLE.  We went downstairs to the most amazing FULL breakfast buffet with the nicest chef.  I'm talking eggs, ham, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels, english muffins, belgium waffles with strawberries & whip cream, Egg Sandwiches, Lots of juice, yougurt, fresh fruit, hot cocoa, coffees, tea.  Like I said, AMAZING.

We ate a ton, then went back to our room, got swim suits on, and our new pink inner tube blown up (took mommy way longer than it would've taken others) but the kids were patient.  This is a picture of my cuties in their Mickey & Minnie towels.  Aunt Renee & Tara sent Rachael the Minnie Mouse, and I found Mickey at Target for Daniel.  Perfect for keeping warm on our way to the pool & back!  We had a wonderful time in the water, with lots of giggles, splashing & Rachael showing off her swimming skills. 

For Lunch, I cooked in the kitchen, and we had macarroni & cheese, grapes & drinks.  I have a friend from High School who is the Sports Reporter for ABC in Duluth, so he gave me a tip to check out the Children's Museum in the afternoon, as it would be less busy.  So, we packed up & turned on the Navigation & headed to the Museum.  As we got closer, there were one ways everywhere, Mommy got lost & we ended up at a lovely park by accident.  It was beautiful weather, so the kids played & I asked a grandma for specific directions to the Depot.  We were less than a mile from the Museum!  So, we played & then headed for some fun exploring.

 As you stepped on the lights, they made sounds, entertained Daniel for quite a while!

 Daniel LOVED the felt board & made quite a few pictures....he thought it very interesting how they stick.

 There was a giant tree that had twisty stairs taking you to the next level, so the kids went up & then came back down.

Sorry the pictures are out of order, I don't know how to control that!  We went back to the hotel, took a LONG nap, went swimming again, and then went down for dinner.  Same amazing cook, Pizza, two kinds of soup, rolls, fresh fruit, soda pop & the most incredible brownies we've ever eaten....Rachael ate 2!

We curled into bed & watched the elimination show of Dancing with the Stars.  It was an amazing time, bonding with my angels.
