'80s Dance...big hair, big fun!!!

Friday night, Rachael had her first all school dance, "The Fall Ball" with the theme of 80's night!  We had the skirt, and the leg warmers, we found the shirt at Savers for $2.

I was chaperoning the dance, which was an experience.  I'm not every going to be ready for Rachael to be an 8th grader...I cannot believe what those girls think is appropriate to wear to a dance!

Today after school we had a lunch play date at the McDonald's play land.  After, we had some errands to run, including the Burnsville Mall.  While there, Rachael asked to look at the earrings.

After talking it over, she wanted to get her ears pierced!
She picked cute silver (white gold) balls, so that they will "go with everything!"

After the first one went in, I wasn't sure she was going to let the lady finish the second ear.  But, after a few minutes, she finished & loved the way they looked.
She looks so grown up & is very proud of how they look :)
