Santa 2011

November 29 we had our Santa Appointment at the Mall of America, with "The Real Santa!"   This Santa is so wonderful & spends a good amount of time with each child, so you have to make appointments a head of time.  The times fill up quickly, so the minute I get the email, I register the kids right away!  Boy were they excited to go & tell Santa what good children they were this year!

 This is a picture of the kids waiting for Santa to get back from lunch.  We got there early so that we wouldn't have to wait long.  There were about 4-5 other families behind us in the same 30 minute time frame.  I love their outfits, which are actually pj's!

 This is when they first sat down to talk on the ground with Santa.  He already knows their name from the sheet we sign in with, but the kids don't know that!  So he greets them by name & asks how old they are now.  

 Rachael was EXTREMELY protective of Daniel this year.  For some reason she thought he'd be scared of him this time.  But of course, Daniel was just fine & didn't need Rachael helping him :)  

What do the kids want this year?  Daniel wants 1 firetruck, 2 fire dogs (dalmations) & 2 firemen.  

I wonder if Santa will be able to get those for him?!!! 

Rachael said to Santa that she wants the Tangled Castle, but what she has been asking for since June is an Ipod.  She was worried Santa would think she was too young for one, so she went with the castle.  Just what she needs, a third castle.  We'll see about that one ;)
